New Substances Added to California’s Proposition 65

Effective January 27, 2023, California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) added three new substances to the list of chemicals known to cause cancer for the purposes of Proposition 65. A warning requirement for significant exposures to the following chemicals will take effect on January 27, 2024. The public notice describing the basis for the listings can be found published in the December 2, 2022 issue of the California Regulatory Notice Register.
